Over the past few seasons the board has had to make some difficult decisions about which events can continue to be hosted in the park. Rising costs, safety requirements, and the strain on the grounds all played a part.
We know these events meant a lot to the community. We’re focused on protecting the park for the long term so the traditions that remain — above all the Fourth of July — can continue for generations.
