Lititz Rotary Craft Show Guide: Dates, Parking, Vendors & Insider Tips

Posted in :

Admin

Every August, on the second Saturday of the month, downtown Lititz transforms itself into a long stretch of outdoor market. The Lititz craft show, organized by the Rotary Club of Lititz, hosts nearly 550 craftspeople in East Main Street and Broad Street that attracts up to 50,000 people to come shopping. That’s a lot of people for such a small town, but that’s why some amount of preparation is needed.

The guide provides all the necessary information to organize your visit: times, closing streets, parking directions, restrooms, food stands, and even information about booths for crafters.

What Is the Lititz Rotary Craft Show?

The Lititz Rotary Craft Show was founded in 1979, bringing together a number of craftsmen from the local area on one block of East Main Street. More than four decades have passed since then, but this event still stands out as one of the best craft shows on the East Coast.

What makes this show different is that there is an absolute requirement for all products to be originals. The vendors need to produce their crafts either by themselves or directly supervise the making process. No wholesale products, slightly modified ready-made crafts, and commercial crafts are allowed and will be removed from the show by the Rotary organization. Thus, when you visit the Lititz craft fair, you buy your crafts directly from those who created them.

Lititz Craft Show 2025 and 2026 Recap

The Lititz craft show 2025 took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, and the 2026 show followed on August 8, 2026. Both kept the familiar format: 8 AM to 3 PM, about 550 vendors, and the layout along East Main and Broad Streets.

In 2026, the Rotary added a weather notice. Because of pop-up summer thunderstorms, Warwick Township emergency management officials monitored conditions during the event and planned to give advance notice of any weather concerns. Expect the same approach in future years. Check the forecast and the Rotary’s Facebook page the morning of the show.

Where Is the Lititz PA Craft Show? Map of the Show Area

The Lititz PA craft show starts at the Square, where Broad and Main Streets meet, and spreads out in two directions:

  • East Main Street: from the Square east to Willow Street, past Linden Hall and the historic Moravian Church Square.
  • South Broad Street: from the Square south to Marion Street.

Lititz Springs Park, on North Broad Street just above the Square, has long been part of the show experience. Past show listings included vendors in the park, and the Rotary’s parking directions from Warwick High School still send walkers “down the hill” into the park section. It’s also the shadiest spot downtown on a hot August afternoon.

Only craft show vendor traffic is allowed on these streets during those hours. Route 501 (Broad Street) is one of the town’s main roads, so expect detours all day.

Lititz Craft Show Parking: The Routes Locals Use

The Rotary’s own advice is to put your GPS away on show day. So many streets close that navigation apps send you straight into barricades. Use these routes instead.

Driving Directions by Route

  1. Approaching from Route 501 South: Turn left on Newport Road (Sheetz). After passing the second light, turn right on Oak Street (Turkey Hill). Travel along Oak past a stop sign, a light, and another stop sign, then turn right again. At the next stop, turn right on Locust Street. Parking at Linden Hall will be on the left.
  2. Approaching from Route 501 North: At the barricades at Second Avenue, turn left, travel one block, and continue straight through the greenhouses to the next light. Make a right turn here. Warwick High School will be on the left. Continue to the far east end, make a left turn, and proceed to the lot.
  3. Approaching from Route 772 East: Traveling on 772 into Lititz, Warwick High School will be on the left. Proceed to the far end and make a left turn into the lot. The park is located just ahead at the bottom of the hill.
  4. Approaching from Route 772 West: At the barricades at Oak Street, turn left, travel to the next stop sign and make a right turn, then turn right on Locust Street at the next stop.

Tip: Arrive before 8 AM. Serious shoppers start walking the show early, and the closest lots fill quickly. By late morning, the free shuttle from Evangelical Free Church is usually the least stressful option.

Restrooms, Food, and Help During the Show

Restrooms: Portable restrooms are set up in front of Linden Hall (212 E. Main St.), next to Matthew 25 Thrift Shop (48 E. Main St.), at the Lititz Fire Company, and at Main Street and Forney Drive.

Food: The Rotary keeps food vendors to a limited number on purpose, so visitors will eat at Lititz’s downtown restaurants. You’ll also find a few nonprofit food stands and food trucks along the route. Local favorites like Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery and Wilbur Chocolate are a short walk away.

Help: For a medical emergency, call 911. Rotary volunteers staff info stands at the Square (Main and Broad) and at Church Square (Water and Main).

Insider Tips for Shopping the Lititz Craft Fair

  • Go early for the best selection. One-of-a-kind pieces sell first, and the morning is cooler.
  • Bring cash and a card. Most vendors take cards, but cash is faster when signals get crowded.
  • Carry a tote or folding cart. Bags get heavy by the second block.
  • Dress for August. Wear sunscreen, a hat, comfortable shoes, and bring water. Pack a rain jacket too, since the show runs rain or shine.
  • Walk one loop, then buy. With 550 booths, it helps to see everything before you commit to big purchases.
  • Take a break in the park. Lititz Springs Park has shade, benches, and the cool spring-fed stream.
  • Leave the stroller at home if you can. The sidewalks get tight by midday. A child carrier is easier.

Where the Money Goes

Each vendor pays a flat booth fee, and the net proceeds go back into the community. The Rotary Club of Lititz supports more than 30 nonprofit groups each year and funds college scholarships and loans for local students. Past recipients include the area’s fire companies, Warwick Ambulance Association, Lititz-Warwick Community Chest, Lititz Historical Foundation, Lititz Public Library, and the Lititz recCenter. So every purchase you make at the Lititz Rotary craft show also supports the town.

Make a Weekend of It

If you’re driving in, consider staying the night. The Wilbur Hotel, Lititz Springs Inn & Spa, and The Alden House are right in the show area, and Hotel Rock Lititz is just outside town. Book months ahead, because rooms fill up for craft show weekend. On Sunday, when the streets have reopened, the downtown shops and Lititz Springs Park are much quieter to explore.
